Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Duties:

• Assist with planning and conducting assessments study design, design or review of data collection tools, data management and quality control for project baseline, mid-term and end line surveys and evaluate studies in collaboration with the team
• Conduct   data analysis, interpretation, and reporting of results of activities undertaken above
• Develop project/s monitoring and evaluation tools (data collection, analysis etc) in collaboration with the project team
• Conduct M and E visits to assess projects implementation and to ensure that project/s are moving in the right direction and identify bottlenecks and solutions
• Assist with compilation of documents and presentations for M & E trainings for program/project staffs and key stakeholders.
• Conduct/support the development and implementation of trainings on Quality assurance methodologies, data management and M&E tools.
• Support knowledge management and learning system  of the organization
• Gathering data, information on DSW Ethiopia projects and best practices through designed systems of data collection and other suggested means.
• Support the documentation of best practices (case studies, end of projects evaluations etc).
•  Perform other activities as assigned.

Job Requirement:                       

Qualification:

Education: 

• Masters degree in Statistics, M&E, Public Health/Social sciences, Demography and related fields.

Experience:

• A  5 years  practical experience in M & E  preferably in Adolescent  SRH, HIV/AIDS , Family Planning and other related areas.

Skills:

• Computer knowledge mainly on statistical software such as SPSS, EPI INFO and STATA are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills particularly in English.
