Operation Department Manager

Abdi Gudina Saving & Credit Cooperative Union is looking for qualified applicants for the following open position.

JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title

Job Requirement

Responsibilities:

Make Credit decisions within assigned authority
Initiate process improvement & quality reviews to simplify & improve productivity
Accountable for the entire granting process, Periodic credit review & assessment of credit worthiness
Introduce new saving and loan products & promote through regular visits & Communication with members
Manage Operations & Productivity of credit life insurance Resolve Credit issues with Customers
Develop Management reporting
Supervise & Coordinate credit & Insurance teams

Education Qualification and Work Experience Required

Bachelor’s Degree/Masters in Coop .Mgt ,Business Management ,Coop –accounting ,Coop –marketing, Leadership ,Development Mgt and related field and also 8/6 work experience respectively. out of this experience ,2 years direct work experience as operation manager of the SACCO.

Language Requirements

Able to Read ,Write ,Speak & Listen Afaan Oromo ,Amharic & English language skill

Additional Requirements:

Proven work experience as a saving & credit or similar role
Hands on experience with budgeting and risk management
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
Proficiency in accounting software
Solid analytical and decision making skills Leadership abilities
Knowledge of credit life insurance
Basic Computer skill
Good Interpersonal skills
