Duties:
- The Senior Program Assistant position works under the supervision of the Head of Partner and Cooperative Agreement Management Branch (PMG) and supports PMG and other CDC Ethiopia staff, grantees in CoAg management, VAT refund processing, duty-free importation, communicating with grantees, collection of disallowed costs refund, etc. This position is also responsible for managing CoAg database, maintaining hard copy and electronic CoAg files, and tracking and updating monitoring tools including financial information, progress and audit reports.
- Job holder assists in periodically updating partners’ contact list, in coordinating with appropriate programs and grantee staff planning and scheduling of training, meetings and conferences, preparing and distributing minutes, and facilitating logistics.

Qualification:
Education:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, International Development, Economics or Finance is required.
Experience:
- Three years of progressively responsible administrative management experience in a public health or international development program that includes administrative management of acquisitions, grants, contracts or cooperative agreement documentation and reporting, files management and exposure to external clients is required.
Skills:
- Must have strong computer skills.
- Must be able to digest large amounts of information and organize it into a useful format.
- Must be able to organize, set priorities, multi-task, take initiative and exercise sound independent judgment within areas of responsibility.
- Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with different agencies and organizations.
- Must be able to write succinctly and clearly.
- Must be able to compose correspondence from brief instructions.
- Must be able to use tact and discretion in dealing with sensitive situations and concerned people.
- Good computer skills and ability to manage a budget. (These may be tested)
